The image and idea of this large-scale painting made by traffic is so incredible – I’m amazed the city let the artist’s get away with this aggressive form of expression.

At the Rosenthaler Platz intersection in Berlin, artist’s decided to pour paint on the streets to see what images cars, buses, bicycles and pedestrians would make with it.  The whole action took only several seconds, the wheels on the cars became a brush tool and signs posted throughout the area informed the public that this paint would wash away with water.

Even though the purpose of this was to create art in a large-scale, non typical space with foreign objects as brushes, I can’t help but instantly feel the need to re-create this colorful image by letting my little pup run around some puddles of bright (non-toxic) paint on canvas or paper…
